Following this, he graduated from the University of Birmingham with Master's degree in Physiotherapy.

Troy went on to work at Warwick Medical School where he specialised in Trauma and Orthopaedics as a Research Associate for clinical trials. He also works on the Sports Therapy pathway at University College Birmingham where he is Module Leader for Sports Injuries and is an external examiner for the University of Northampton's Masters degree.

Troy has worked all around the globe and trained with some of the best clinicians in the world. In 2010, Troy completed the AREA emergency first aid trauma management course for the Premiere League and went on to work for the England Football Association in 2011. He has also completed his Musculoskeletal Medicine training with the Society of Musculoskeletal Medicine, and was one of the first Physiotherapists in the County to be able to prescribe medicines and provide cutting edge procedures for patients in his care.

Having previously been a professional footballer for Torquay United and Celtic, Troy is extremely passionate about joints. Troy explains, "Professional footballers are much more likely to develop osteoarthritis when they are older compared to other people. This is largely down to the wear and tear their joints go through whilst playing. My clinic is designed to reduce that risk of arthritis for everyone. This is why I have specialised in procedures commonly used in professional sport to help people from every walk of life."

"My doctor said that I was too young for a knee replacement. I didn't know what else to do. Thankfully I was introduced to Troy and now my knee is much much better."

N. Hughes

“I would definitely recommend having it done. My knee was in agony before. Now I can go walking in the park with my grandkids.”

A. Robertson

“| was told that it was osteoarthritis and that there was nothing they could do. Since my treatment at the clinic I don't have any pain at all.”

T. Hunt

“I didn't want to have an operation so I gave it a try. After 2 weeks I noticed the difference. Now it is getting better and better.”
